Plot:
While doing an investigation in the street, detective Utsumi Kaoru noticed that an elderly woman in a wheelchair seemed lifeless. She approaches the woman and she finds out that she is already dead. The man pushing the wheelchair is the elderly woman's caretaker.
During the interrogation, the man admitted that he is running away from the local police in Nagano because he killed the elderly woman's daughter. Because of jurisdiction, the man is transferred to the local police department in Nagano.
Upon arriving in Nagano, the man is claiming that he was forced to admit to to the murder by the Metropolitan Police Department in Tokyo. The suspect is claiming that he is falsely accused and he is actually innocent.
Kaoru requests that her superiors allow her to stay in Nagano so she can solve the case...
