Yep, JavLuv searches all fields, including notes. I added that so people could put whatever they want there. I sometimes use it for a few things that don't really fit in the genre field.

Regarding genres, those just come from the website JavLuv scrapes. I should mention one of the major features I'd like to add in the future is a tab for managing genres more explicitly, like doing batch changes and check all genres by popularity, etc. In the meantime, remember there IS a way...

JavLuv may have gotten confused at some point and tried to avoid overwriting the existing actress named folders. I'd try selecting all your movies (ctrl-A), then choose "Move / rename" from the right-click context menu to resort all your movies. You may have to manually delete the old folders...

That was what I meant, but JavLuv does create its own browser instance using Windows internal Edge browser components. If some third party software removed that as "bloatware", its also removing the shared components JavLuv uses.

No, you'd have to do that manually and import it. To do it automatically I'd have to figure out how to scrape that site, and given that it's a pay site, there might be built in mechanisms to prevent that. Maybe worth investigating for a future feature.

No, sorry, it's designed to scan for movie files, not subtitles. Even if it were, online scanning is kind of slow due to Cloudflare protection, so it would take a crazy long time to generate nfo files for 80K subtitles.

No, it's just the subtitles. But JavLuv will generate Kodi-compatible nfo files and download covers for any movies you might have, as long as it's listed on a site like JavLibrary, etc.
