I randomly clicked 2 links and each said I need a premium account before downloading.
I can download them fine. I'm still downloading (on part 3), but I previewed the video and it extracted and plays fine (and the quality looks excellent), so I guess it's just you. I'm downloading as a free user btw.

got a question, does any one have problems with the eyes on the sides. Its almost as if the lens's are not matched up. I see alot of girls with 4 eyes when I turn my head. I even have to tilt my head a bit to align the eyes to get it in 3D. I'm not sure if its because the harem movies the girls on the sides are always way too close and thats why. Its really apparent in Japanese movies, not so much with western/euro VR movies.
I've noticed that since day one for me. I just tilt my head slightly.

It went from August TBD to being released on July 21. FYI. Still on DMM, so I will have to wait. (have I ever told you I hate DMM VR?) I'm curious to see what the quality is like, considering this is a big studio entering the VR arena. Afesta needs to push to get more of the DMM content, from S1, Idea Pocket, VROne released on their site. I almost died when DMM made Satomi Suzukiès 1st VR movie a DMM exclusive.
On a side note: I wonder why S1 and Prestige have been so quiet lately. I was expecting Prestige to come out with another one of their starlets... but they announced nothing for the VR Grand prix. I'm hoping that they are waiting and playing around improving their quality. I thought Prestige jumped in quality between the Airi Suzumura VR release to the Mion Sonoda one, which looked more natural. Maybe they are waiting like everyone to see what the new SOD 360 rig is like in quality.
The good thing is, we are just at the beginning of JAV VR..., 8 months ago Casshern was here talking to himself, who knows where we will be in 1-3 years time... VR spermania!! bukkake!!
My last stupid VR thought of the day, I wonder what VR would have looked like with Azumi Harusaki, Mizuho Uehara, Hikaru Koto, Yua Aida, Akane Sakura, Yuri Kousaka and all my past favourites. Some of these recent girls are nice, but VR is truly amazing when there's someone who you really, really, really like riding you cowgirl in VR.

I'm not sure if I understand you correct, but you mean when you turn your head to look at the side of the VR and you kind of see double as if the pictures won't align? I think In that case yeah I know what you mean and I think it' pretty bad in not just JAVs but western movies as well. I can only speak for my Vive though. And tilting my head only makes it slightly better for me. I think the technology just isn't capable yet.

CzechVR has a moving VR camera rig. Its amazing tech and the movement is very slow and smooth. In a lot of their CzechVR casting videos, where its just you and the girl, they will move the camera where you want it to go. Many times I'm thinking "i want to go in close to her face" and the camera is already being moved there. Then they will slowly move the camera down along her body and then in close to her pussy while she gapes it open for you to look in close detail. Its very close to a combination of POV and non-POV. I consider it more like "fly on the wall voyeurism-VR style".
They even have non-POV movies using the VR camera. I saw one where you are basically watching a couple having sex. They move the camera to interesting positions, like above a pile driver looking down. And also in close to a girl giving a blow job, and even to a nice close up of a creampie and the cum dripping out. Its the 3D element combined with the VR camera moving in close and seeing that sex act in detail.
I think SexbabesVR also has a moving camera rig, but its not as good as the CzechVR one, and they don't use it as much.
Interesting, in the hands of an artist, such new possibilities for film makers.

That is what you get from a 2 cam 180 degree setup.
There is no difference in western or japanese in this regard. The harem movies feature content at the very edges of the FOV, where the weakness of the technology comes into play. The only way to mitigate that effect is recording with more than 2 cams, which has different challenges.
You got 2 fisheye cams, each of them capture a picture for one of your eyes. The cams are positioned to record with an fixed simulated Inter-pupillary Distance (IPD). Because of the fisheye lenses they record a field of view of 180 degree for each eye.
The 180 degrees are projected in spheres for each eye.
Looking from within the sphere, the pictures only got the right parallax when you are looking straight, like the cams did during the recording session.
When you turn your head 90 degree to the right, you see a picture for the left eye that was recorded by the left cam. At this angle the left cam recorded a view that was just behind and not left of the right cam, with an effective IPD of 0 mm. As a result you see 2 pictures with your eyes that are not having the correct parallax.
When you look right with your HMD you get the view you would get when you look forward and try to turn your eyes to the right without turning your head.
In RL won't get a good 3d view at the edge of your FOV too, on top of the limited effective IPD you got a nose that limits your ability to look stereo at the edges of your FOV too.
Interesting, I wonder if this is from actual screenshots (looks like not actually) or just the way they present the title. AVOPVR-046 has a bit of a camera POV as apposed to actual POV, but it still might be kind of nice to see right up in the action...I think.
@Casshern2 No sir, it certainly can't be real screenshots. That would make the video look way better than most westerns which is highly unlikely. I googled it and I found a downloadable version of it along with some other avopr releases. The size is like 1,5 Gb so there is no way in hell the picture is THAT good. Screenshots from other avopr looks the same. I don't have premium depfile so I can't download to see, but I'm convinced the quality is crap anyway. It's annoying and almost laughable that they try to cheat us with these pictures.
I tend to agree, although with depfile and the fact that these have not been released yet I'd say what you found might be fake. It's normal for DVDs to get ripped prior to release date but, maybe it's just me, I've never seen digital releases in the wild before theirs.
