Porn debut by ex-AKB48 member Eri Takamatsu not as scandalous as sex in showbiz

TOKYO (TR) – Hot on the heels of a scandal involving an AKB48 member and a liaison with a dancer, a former member of the idol group last week released her adult video (AV) debut.

The contents of the disc, however, are not nearly as scandalous as her comments on her previous sexual encounters, says entertainment site Men’s Cyzo (Feb. 4).

Eri Takamatsu, 19, performs under the name Risa Tachibana in the Soft On Demand Create release (“Risa Tachibana: AV Debut”) that hit store shelves on February 7.

Takamatsu resigned from AKB48 in 2010 while at the trainee level.

The disc comes a week after the publication of photos of 20-year-old Minami Minegishi leaving the residence of a member of boy band Generations, which was notable since AKB48 has a strict policy prohibiting relationships with members of the opposite sex.

Speaking as Tachibana, she explains her motivations for appearing in the film in an interview contained on the 180-minute disc. “I do not have any positive memories regarding sex,” she says. “If I can become comfortable with sex it may change my views of men. My personality of turning my back (to people) may also change a little.”

Her negative views of intimacy and men go back to her first encounter. At the age of 17, a course of events led her to be taken to a love hotel by an older acquaintance she really did not know or care for. “He forced himself on me violently,” she says.

Men’s Cyzo uses the phrase “evil custom” to describe the experience, which an entertainment reporter says brings to mind the situation of the last ex-AKB48 member to release a porn disc, Rina Nakanishi.

Eri Takamatsu
Performing under the name Riko Yamaguchi, she debuted in 2010. At the time, she famously confessed to having sex, like Takamatsu, during her tenure as a member of AKB48. “At the age of 17, I had sex with an older man, a member of the entertainment industry,” she said.
The reporter says that AKB48′s prohibition on affection is total “nonsense” considering the inconsistencies involved. “There may be a ban on love, but sex is ok,” the source chuckles.

That is, sex with male members in showbiz. The reporter says that rising to the top through the “pillow trade,” or makura eigyo, is not dead in the entertainment industry.

“That evil custom is still firmly rooted in some ways in the business,” says the reporter. “AKB48 is not immune to the practice. Despite the no-boyfriends rule, it still exists, and the hypocrisy is extreme.”

Anyone who thinks that these girl bands are nothing more than a front for the JAV porn business is either deluded, naive to the extreme or just plain retarded!

Does that mean everyone in AKB48 already had been engaged in *pillow trade* at least once ? :nosebleed:

Is the idea of *Seifuku Ga Jama Wo Suru* real and trully practiced in each member's life, at least in one *not a special, precious* moment ? :pandalaugh:

Can't imagine that would give so many fans mental breakdowns.:scared:

Can't imagine a massive cardiac arrest in Akibahara stage.

Can't imagine their *saint virgin* images were ruined by that news, I especially can't imagine that my personal favourites, which were Haruna Kojima and Erena Ono actually did that dirty little secret.

I'm gone need some medications and therapy quickly.:exhausted:

Japan doesn't really seem to have a serious pop music industry. Everyone in Asia just seems to follow Kpop.

jpop is pretty much AKB or the sister bands really. before they came along the industry was dying in Japan, or at lest in $ terms. And yeah K-pop rules, AKB48 reached thier 'dream' of performing at the Toyko Dome after six long years, but pretty much any second rate korean band that hops over for a weekend visit can get it booked for them as a matter of course. But like China before them Japan starting a knee jerk reaction again increasing invasions by the hordes of clone K-pop bands, who while talk up culture exchange and the like are clearly after the easy money and little else. As for pillow trade will when you add up the sheer number of girls in akb and the sister bands and all the trainees who never made the cut it, you talking 1000 plus, heck maybe more, and only two have spoken of such events..so i hardly think it a common..um event?

In terms of overall sales figures, the idol industry is KILLING the K-pop industry, at least in Japan. You look at the top-selling singles of the past few years, and you will see that AKB48 and its spinoffs, along with Johnny's groups (boy-band type groups like SMAP and Arashi) absolutely dominate the charts. I remember in 2010 the top ten bestselling singles were literally all by either AKB48 or Arashi. Think about that for a second. The top 10 bestselling songs were all made by two bands. 2011 had one novelty song creep into the top 10 but aside from that, it was all AKB48 or Johnny's stuff. And in 2012? 5 AKB48 songs, followed by 2 Arashi songs, followed by 3 SKE48 songs. Holy crap, EVERY SINGLE SONG up to #22 is either AKB48 or Johnny's related. Almost no K-pop songs have cracked the top 100.

You look at the album rankings, and it's more balanced overall but Japanese idol groups still outsell K-Pop acts by a wide margin. As to why Korean acts can still play the big stadiums like Tokyo Dome, I would say it's probably demographics. The K-Pop fanbase skews older, and is mostly women in their upper 20s and older, who have enough freedom and disposable income to pay for both a concert ticket and travel expenses if they live far away. Idol groups do have a very hardcore base of males, but the vast majority of people who buy their albums are not the hardcore fans, they're kids. Teenagers and preteens who buy the singles but may have a hard time paying for a concert--if they can even get permission to go. So to play in a major stadium they need to get popular enough to sell out in spite of this, and/or wait for their fans to get old enough to go to concerts on their own (and of course many of them grow out of it).

Anyone who thinks that these girl bands are nothing more than a front for the JAV porn business is either deluded, naive to the extreme or just plain retarded!

This is a dumb thing to say, but then people who use "retarded" as an insult tend not to be that smart overall.

There are a lot of things wrong with the idol industry, but if you think it's a "front" for the porn industry than YOU are deluded. I will say this: anyone who sees these ex-members move on to do porn and think, "Maybe my favorite member will do it too..." don't hold your breath. Especially if it's one of the top members who are on TV a lot. Those girls are almost guaranteed not to do porn.

The most likely is the mid-level members, the ones who got almost kinda-famous and quit in frustration. Because they want to be big, and they want to make decent money, but couldn't get it working for the mainstream idol industry. Even for them, though, the chances that they won't do it is for higher than the chances that they will

When i see how fan react to the simple fact that those girls are not virgin or share a simple kiss with a boyfriend.. i can assume that their is some problem with this business, not at a whole but some facet of it.

When i see some female singer go to porn industries when they were in one music group before.. all i can think is that there is a problem with the management of the group/industries. Either the pressure on the member is too high or they're asking too much of the former member for them to resent the need to go to extreme measure to free themself from the control over their life by the management.

People should make up their minds if sex is evil or not. Don't create a system that rewards sluts, but then lowers their social standing. That's the real hypocrisy.

I don't think I agree.

First off nobody thinks sex is evil, not even puritans. What they do believe is that sex should not be taken so lightly. Nobody wants to think that their mom slept with so many guys she has no idea who their dad is. That is just sad and it is something I have seen happen in the real world.

Despite what we (or you) think how sex should be viewed both male and females have sexual urges and drives. Veiwing porn is a safe (and for some enjoyable) compliment to sexual fantasies but expecting the participants in porn to be viewed as respected individuals might be asking a bit much. There is a huge difference from being a pop idol and being a porn star and I don't see any hypocrisy in viewing it that way. It is the difference between wanting the girl next door and watching everyone in the neighborhood fuck her. I mean seriously.

it is you that doesn't seem to get what he means. most societies at large view men and women who sleep around differently. that is what he means. you are right about " nobody want to think their mom slept with many guys " but society generally does not feel the same with guy that sleep around with so many women and does not know he father some illegitimate child. sure, these are not encourage and advisable but the guys are not given similar reproach as the girls. and among guys, such a guy are actually view with admiration and/or respect. maybe it is different in the society that you live in but I highly doubt it and if you yourself think men and women is different, you are guilty of deep hypocrisy too.

I adore a little discourse to pass the time, so understand, no personal affront is meant by this. I do respect your opinion.

However..........Of course men and women are different. It infuriates me that people deny this and it really has confused the whole naturally different gender roles.

Let us review a few fun facts; Men have a penis, women have a viagina. Men have the sperm and women the egg. Women get fucked and men fuck. These are the obvious differences but there are plenty more. The sexes differ in skeletal structure, women having a shorter head, broader face, less protruding chin, shorter legs, and longer trunk. The first finger of a woman's hand is usually longer than the third; with men the reverse is true. Boys' teeth last longer than do those of girls. Women have a larger stomach, kidneys, liver, and appendix, and smaller lungs than men. Women have three very important physiological functions totally absent in men--menstruation, pregnancy, and lactation. Each of these mechanisms influences behavior and feelings significantly. Female hormonal patterns are more complex and varied. The glands work differently in the two sexes. For example, a woman's thyroid is larger and more active; it enlarges during menstruation and pregnancy, which makes her more prone to goiter, provides resistance to cold, and is associated with the smooth skin, relatively hairless body, and the thin layer of subcutaneous fat that are important elements in the concept of personal beauty. Women are also more responsive emotionally, laughing and crying more readily. Women's blood contains more water (20 percent fewer red cells). Since red cells supply oxygen to the body, she tires more easily and is more prone to faint. Men are 50 percent stronger than women in brute strength. Men and women differ in every cell of their bodies because they carry a differing chromosomal pattern.

If you bothered to read the above then I must ask you this....Why the fuck is it wrong to view the sexes differently if they are so different? How is that hypocritical? Let men be men and women be women and stop trying to make them the same sex because they obviously are not.

Another thing...while I enjoy my rant (not that I am expecting anyone else to) I have as much respect for Ron Jeremy as I do Nina Hartley (both american porn stars). I do not dislike Madonna because she is a slut but because she was a teen idol looked up to by....(you guessed it)....teens, and then became an obvious slut. As a teen idol she had a responsiblility to at least try to act like someone one could look up to from a moral standpoint because fans will try to imitate her. Morally she had as much right to sleep around as Tom Cruise does but at least Tom Cruise tries to be discreet. The point is, (if you are missing it) is that being a star (or idol) comes with responsibilities and shitting on those responsibilities is not going to win you a lot of fans and will likely lose you quite a few. Respect is hard to earn and easy to lose and that is just the way it is.

As a card carrying Union member (pun intended) in the AV Stunt Double industry, I've been discriminated against on every video shoot.
Sure, as soon as they get in trouble with a difficult or dangerous close-up shot who do they call?
Turn my back, and I hear Donkey braying.. Cat calls if you will.. I pity the fool that calls me a horse cock to my face..
