Signature image size ?

Is there a limit on your signature image size ? (And is it enforced ?)

Years ago, when I created my signature image, it was limitted to 200 by 700 pixels. I'd really love to get a couple more girls in my sig - like Rei Kuromiya. I think I've seen sigs with larger pics. Before I put forth the effort of creating a new sig pic . . . you get the idea . . .

The current limit is 500 by 100 pixels or 195.3 KB (whichever is smaller).

I guess you can't upload it in the first place, if it's above the limits.

So in the end what counts is really what YOU see on the "edit signature" menu. Anyway chompy or Rollyco should re-think about the whole thing...

So would it be fair to ask more directly ?

I'd really love it, chompy or Rollyco, if we could have a couple hundred more pixels of width for our signatures. (I understand the need to keep height limitted.) If it's not too much trouble. (If I'm being a pain in the arse, I apologize.)

Probably done by chompy when your moderator account was first set up. If I remember right the upload size for my album pix was lowered and chompy said something to that effect before he fixed it. My bet is coolkevin and Snakeboy have the same limits as you do for signature size. Just ask chomps to reset the values.
