.
I've been spending some time today fine-tuning this thread, because the actor names are all over the place. While I'm laboring, I wanted to give a limited round-up of loose ends that have been on my mind.
I don't have the time now to dig up the best shots of some of these actors, and instead will resort to recycling shots already around... sorry 'bout that.
Looking around in
Nick Wells' "
Other Performers" thread, I don't even recognize many of the faces that were put up. I'll be concentrating on the ones that have made an impression on me.
From that thread is this very familiar face:
Member
Zen10101 pegged him as the
"Pacino of JAV"; I suppose that is because the actor is tough, and emits a simmering intensity. Below, he plays the villain tormenting
Ito Azusa in
r*** Heroine Insult [GXXD-99]:
This Tough Guy calls for an identification.
--------
EDIT:
Electromog nailed the tough guy; he is
Kurihara Ryo. (栗原良) Please see my next post below for more on
Tough Old Feller.
The next one has been identified by
Paparoach408, and I like the actor very much. His photograph has taken a powder from this thread, so let's put a pic to the name... to see whom we are talking about:
Ozawa Tooru (小 沢 とおる)
He is the one dubbed as
Rugged Man, and I appreciate his aura of integrity. (Papa had come up with Rugged Man's
Twitter account, where the following photo was taken from.)
From
Forgive Me, Dear [KNCS-064], with
Natsume Inagawa:
EDIT:
A limited
filmography. (
Translated)
From the "Other Performers" thread, here is the
Neanderthal:
He has been identified as
Masatoshi Kuroda, 黒田将稔. Looking handsomer in his
page from the
Warashi directory that
Codegeek informed us of. He has several other aliases, and has done gay porn too, I see.
EDIT: A limited
filmography, and its
translation. Google's version of Masatoshi's first name is "Masaru Minoru"
Sitting at left, from
My Friend and His Wife Passed Out Drunk [MOMJ-210]:
Man in the middle is
Monkeyface. Let's study his simian similarity:
Above, as he appeared in
My Friend and His Wife Passed Out Drunk [MOMJ-092]; below, from another in the same series,
[MOMJ-111], with
An Mashiro:
Monkeyface calls for an identification.
EDIT: His name
turned out to be
Miyazaki (宮崎).
Just noticed from the
directory, this guy ... who has been all over:
Masakazu Oshino, or Masakazu Shino (忍野雅)
That's not the best photo of him, but it will have to do for now.
--------
EDIT:
What's below still isn't good enough to get you to instantly recognize him, but until better shots come along... here is his profile from MDYD-437
(Stepmother Slave):
Below, he is beside the Neanderthal. (In MDYD-437, his fellow cretins in the cast also include the
Concentration Camp Survivor, as well as
The Bad.) You can see Masakazu's frontal face is strangely square-shaped, and he also comes across as bland onscreen. Therefore, hereafter and forever, the man shall be known as "
The Square"!
EDITING AGAIN:
While I may have done an awful job of providing adequate shots of "The Square," I can't resist adding a pretty good shot of who may well be the "The Female Square"; from HTDR-004,
Emi Fujiwara.

Finally, let's pay a nod to the "King" of JAV, the guy who is everywhere; thus, his nickname of "
The Golden Archer," as dubbed by Member
Jack1956. (He is everywhere, like McDonald's. Plus, he's in his golden years, or close to.)
Some may call him a "King," but he's more of a joker in my book. I guess I'm developing a greater appreciation for him, though. (He just puts me off when he puts on that... smile of his.)
Hardly the best photo for him, but I'm recycling here, mainly from my own posts. I have this shot of him from the
"Oscar-Worthy "Real Movie" JAVs!" thread:
A shot from his younger years, as he appeared in the movie being discussed:
The Golden Archer calls for an identification.
