I do not understand why there is a sponsor that won't process US credit cards. Plus I think I just may have just been ripped off by one of their resellers.

I emailed them 6 days ago concerning excessively low download speeds and they never replied. The worst part about this is that my 1st month is ready to run out and Filejoker is still not the mandatory DDL for Slimedog's lesbian thread. Most people are still using Subyshare which I did not renew.

When I first got Filejoker premium I was getting 2.5 Mbs which is what I got with Ryushare and K2S. After 3 weeks I am now getting around 500-600 Kbs. Subyshare was the worst going as low as 6Kbs. I could handle the low DL limit with File joker if only the speed would stay consistent.

I would never do more than 30 days at a time. Look what happened to Ryushare , Mega Upload, Filesonic, Hotfile and many others.

This is something that seems to happen to all DDL sites. Eventually they get shut out of the USA. As of 1/23, I was able to get premium but I up in a week so I will see then.

I prefer to see these posts as more to choose from. Everyone looks for different things in downloads. Some only want the highest HD quality no matter the size of the file. Some want smaller files because they may have limited hard drive space or watch on a non-HD screen. Some people have trouble...

Actually if you register (which is free) the daily limit increases to 6GB.

I agree with SK on the Usenet, it really is the best way to go (for downloaders). Torrents are really unpredictable, you never know when they are dead. You can get halfway through your download when suddenly you slow to .1 kbs!

I agree that Akiba needs a sponsor so we premium users will only have to pay for one. That said, I am not sorry to see Subyshare go. Their download speeds are ridiculously slow. K2S was better but not available in the USA for premium.

Seems like a lot of work for me because their service is crappy. With every other file hoster I have ever used, I just downloaded premium and got super fast downloads. I'm sure all the servers from other hosters were in different countries too, they just worked better.

On one of my trouble tickets, I was told their servers are in Hong Kong and there was a problem in all of HK which was causing the slowdown. I don't know anything about French proxies or even how to go about using them.

A little better w/ jdownloader 2 but 120-170 kbs when I used to download from Ryushare w/ jdownloader at 2.5Mbs is still real unacceptable.

Does anyone know how a person in the US can get premium keep2share? None of their paygates seem to be able to process payments. That was one good thing about k2s is that it was easy to make payments. Now we can't even do that!

I don't necessarily agree with that. I download mainstream movies in 1080p off a torrent site and they are always under 3 Gb. I'm not saying these porn movies should not be bigger than that but do you really believe an HD movie has to be 10-13-21 GB to look good?

That was not exactly what I meant. My point was I don't see why the files have to be that gigantic to begin with.

While I appreciate the efforts of the posters in bringing these movies to us, I find the trend to gargantuan files to be quite distressing. While it would be nice to have some of these movies, do I really have 7 or 13 or now even 21 GB of HD space to devote to one movie? Alas I don't so I hope...

I hope it comes back up and I hope Akiba starts using it again because keep2share is AWFUL! Half the links I try to download are "service temporarily unavailable" or "hoster problem, wait 10 min". Hey, I am paying these people, I want this stuff available all the time.

Keep2share is real crap. Downloading CETD-167 and getting a "hoster problem" on 4 of the 6 parts. And they actually have the nerve to charge $ for this. GRRRRRRRRR!
