I recently went back to some older videos from Yoko Kawahara (川原洋子) and I've really struggled to find any other gravure idols or IVs in general that have really hit that sweet spot for me. The girls with nice asses and legs typically don't get the right camerawork to highlight that combo very well. I notice that the videos usually zoom in to only capture their butts, and their legs aren't even in the picture sometimes when a full body shot would be way sexier. I guess the best way to show it is with some links of how it was done pretty well with Yoko Kawahara. And there are more scenes that are in the linked playlists, but the ones I linked directly were my favorites.

Hong Kong Kikou scene
These scenes are really great because the outfits are somewhat unique, and because the whole scene is about her moving around a bit, showing off her ass, and the poses are pretty erotic, especially her moving around the couch. And if you just glance at the thumbnails in the playlists on the side, Yoko was having these types of scenes once or twice per video back in the day. And it was without feeling too close to AV. I'm not really a fan of gravure videos that get too close to nudity with overly exaggerated high-cut or skimpy swimsuits. Pasties can be okay but it just depends. Ironically, Yoko's last 2 IVs after years away from the gravure scene are along the lines of what I don't prefer, like the purple swimsuit on the spine linked below.
Here are just some random pictures of her during her prime. This is the kind of full-body shot I'd love to see more of in gravure videos, especially for the women who have the assets to back it up.

It's not like there haven't been gravure idols with great asses and legs. Rina Nagai was super active and had some nice IV scenes that featured her ass and legs, and you could definitely tell she squats from these scenes. I linked those and added one of her best photos down below.

Some of Rina's scenes have some suggestive or straight up sex position poses, including ones I didn't link, but that seems pretty typical of gravure videos. Umi Shinonome had a scene where she was doing doggy style against an exercise ball, but the IVs have not been focusing on her ass+legs. I guess legs are just forgotten....but man that picture of Rina would be such a waste if it were just a picture of her ass without including some of her upper and lower body, plus the high heels. I just haven't been able to find much like Yoko's that are more like erotic striptease scenes that are close to full-body shots without featuring overly skimpy outfits. If anyone can suggest older or newer gravure idols that match what Yoko was able to do, please share!
