7 Day Posting Rule

Decided today to go post by post to find where the 7 Day Posting rule implemented by the super-cool coolkevin came from. Turns out it seems to be because of one tenacious member that kept mirroring another member's great posts. So great is this poster that his followers may have turned the mirror guy in...hence the rule. And you know what? I'm glad they did it. I am just more than a little curious why only one member is protected in such a away. For the record as I said I agree with the rule. What are your thoughts?

If every senior uploader can get such rights I don't see the issue. I beats a source throwing a fit and not sharing anymore. As long as the senior uploader doesn't use shit hosts.
At the same time I'd hate to see a mirrorer not provide options in the very often case of a host dying or the uploaders falling off the face of the earth/losing their account.
