The sound is occasionally rough, the performances equally so, but that’s part of the charm of Klara Circus. The songs seem frequently to be beyond the capabilities of the players yet they’re attacked with such gusto and verve that you can’t help falling in love with both the songs and the band. It’s a criminal act of some scale that this group had so few records released. I demand that someone be punished severely for that.
