Anybody got "FAKED" by JAV movie covers?

Hi guys,
I'm really picky with Jav movies I download. I only usually DL movies that have girls that I consider pretty or cute or with huge boobs but sometimes when I get bored I try and download jav with new girls in them because the girls on the front covers look pretty and fresh... But occasionally, I get movies with "ugly" girls that look totally different from the movie covers they were displayed in...

Does anybody get "faked" like me too?

Is it common practice for jav studios to distort the actual appearance of girls on covers to look more beautiful? I wish they didn't... because it'll save me a whole lot of bandwidth and time...uzzled:

Dude, I'm exactly like you, yea they tend to do that, sometimes when I look at the cover only, its really hot, but once you download the movie, its not so hot as you imagine. In my experience, they commonly photoshop the girl in the cover to have bigger eyes, less sagging boobs, and just in general "more attractive".

That's why when I download a movie I search for the actual screenshots, then decide from there

I haven't done too bad with JAVs, for most part if I like the girl on the cover she ok in the video. But I do pretty much always check for screen shots before downloading, because with JAVs there seems to be more problems with scenes on the back cover not being in the video, than the cover girl.

But yes the girls are Photoshopped quite a bit on the covers, just look at my avatar. Riku Hinano has a larger scar on her belly, but you never see it on the covers.

It was kind of funny running across this topic today, as I had just looked at a porn movie cover on another site and the girl on the cover was pretty attractive, so I looked up some screen shots, and there was quite a bit of difference in her looks. I was thinking this one needed to be nominated for some kind of Photoshop prize. Though I guess there is probably worse ones around.

True. Whoever does the covers on these types of movies deserve an award but also it seems they also work on the girl's angled poses like some girls look better when photographed at certain angles. A good example is the picture attachment on your thread reply... k:

I download jav by torrents so I just wait till the torrent downloads enough to allow me to preview some scenes so it allows me to at least see how the girls look even before I complete the download... Occassionally, I get faked so I abort the ugly girl jav download...:evil:

Never go by the cover for anything. Always go to DMM and check out the screenshots to see what the girl looks like. I've been tricked so many times especially from the R18 series when looking for busty girls. If you can't find screenshots for that movie, check her previous movies. I look at DMM first before downloading anything.

Rule of thumb: if the girl's face is obscured in any way on the cover, then stay far, far away.

This is exactly what I am thinking now. I've been browsing the most recent jav torrent postings here and I regret to say that I have found many ugly women in jav with their jav covers really faked! I could cite some examples now but I'm afraid to offend others who might consider them pretty as we all don't have same tastes in women... So right now I'm stuck with downloading some of my favorite jav actresses whose movies can't go wrong no matter how distorted their movie covers get like anna natsuki, Sayuki kanno, yurie shinohara, azumi matsushima and yuzu ogura... :cheer:
