The basic premise of the seedbox is to get the freelaoders (of which I am of course) & clients faster access to the content. The things I post on his behalf for the funders & community at large are usually quickly downloaded.
The seedbox should be seen as a community goal to keep alive and well.
Alas, twice a year the real roaches come crawling out of the woodwork, which I'm not saying to you directly.
We have no right to demand faster speeds for things we didn't fund in any way. I have to sympathize with the clients though…

Sharing the line will be done, but it will not become a nutrient for the funds.

An extra thing called a seed box etc is not necessary for torrent.
I understand that you have to pay the server fee, but asking torrent's shared users may be wrong.
It is your freedom to contract the server, but is not it to supplement other things to earn that price?

Are you going to thank those kind members that allow you to get the stuff that they fund fast?

I'm sure many of these comments will be deleted soon, but I will chime in for now.
Yes the seed box is a "luxury item", but as a purveyor of goods having the best speeds and reliability available are a must. Seed boxes provide both speeds and extra storage. This translates to a longer life for a torrent and reduces risk of punishment from your ISP or the content publishers. Unfortunately a seed box with the storage, reliability, and other features needed for people like desioner and myself don't come with a low price tag. Because of that, he must rely on us members to contribute in order to pay for it. You don't have to contribute, but that revokes your right to complain about things like speeds or dead torrents.

He could add extra fees onto the cost of the items he collects for everyone, but things are already pretty expensive as is and that would only hurt business. It's best to ask the community as a whole to help out. Many people on here get so much content for free that they don't mind sending $5 or so to help with things like this when they can, but there is a MUCH larger number of leeches that don't care.

So, someone, please tell me why everyone is riding such high and mighty horses over this?
None of you are justified, seedbox or not, so can we please leave this toxicity in the steam forums where they better thrive, swallow our pride and return this forum to the civil and mature venue it once was?

The issue is that no seed box = complaints about slow speeds and dead torrents from leeches. Asking for community help funding a seed box = leeches complaining about being asked to help fund a seed box. No matter what happens the leeches complain! If you want to be a leech that's fine, but don't complain about anything unless you're willing to help out. There's no such thing as a free lunch!
