In the early VDD series the nature of the threat is visually clear, but in the later movies, like VDD-095, Director Takuan depends on dialogue to describe the threat. Wouldn't it be helpful if those who have the gift would explain the story essentials now and then?

I have downloaded a few of the VDD movies, but I don't think I ever watched one carefully. Suddenly, we would see the woman alone with the Japanese "Meatballs" crew, and I never scrutinized the reason why the woman found herself with these men - but the sense I got was that maybe one of those "Lazy Porn" ideas was being employed - you know, when a woman answers an ad in hopes of getting treated in a sexual manner she can't easily get elsewhere (as with the U.S. series, "Blacks on Blondes"... I'm guessing that's the one... anyway, what a rip-off.) I still would like to comprehend why these movies usually begin with the woman voluntarily entering a room full of sinister men, and the woman is sometimes all smiley-faced. (Perhaps she was being lured under false pretenses, instead of knowing what she would be in for... as what I had assumed. But then there would need to be some sign of blackmail - otherwise if she simply gets attacked, the bad boys would be in for it, once she leaves.)

Anyway, let me make a few suggestions, although can't say if they would be exactly along the lines of what our thread-starter was seeking.

In the eleventh one of the series, subtitled Married Woman Found Out & Thoroughly Trampled [NTRD-21, with Megumi Haruka... who makes for an irresistible victim, in many of her movies], the bad guy finds a dildo in her trash... which is enough to make her comply with his evil wishes?? (Ahh, we've seen that old "dildo blackmail device" employed in other JAVs, as incomprehensible as the trick is.)

Other subtitles, for you to get the idea that someone is actually coming up with variations - which is to the series' credit:

The formula in each is, as said earlier, pretty much the same. After the trap, the victim is in for bondage, piggy-facings, good old intercourse, and sometimes whippings and candle waxings. The villain may not have hair on his head, but he sure must be putting hair on his chest.

JUGULAR, thank you very much. I think I may have answered my own question: the "in your face" extortion threat (toilet voyeur), as in VDD-003, is carried forward UNIFORMLY in the later VDD series, with just dialogue to describe the "deal" -- Director Takuan becoming more subtle (if the word subtlety can be used with reference to any of the VDD series) as he moves from movie to movie. Some have said these are "not really" r*** movies, but most, if not all of them indeed are; the girl responds to an extortionate threat (i.e., duress for purposes of a r*** count). BUT you may be right too -- in some of the VDDs the girl may just be looking for a romp and gets more than she bargained for! I think this would apply to the stewardess movies more than the doctor movies. Your thoughts?

That was such a nice message, EAH295 (and zowie, are you articulate). I never gave any of the VDD movies enough of a chance, so any thoughts of mine would be baseless. (But if doctors get treated more evilly than stewardesses, that's not fair. Doctors spend years in school and take Hippocratic Oaths, and prescribe drugs in cahoots with pharmaceutical companies; what do stewardesses do?)

What I most concentrated on in your composition was, "...the girl responds to an extortionate threat (i.e., duress for purposes of a r*** count)"; in other words, she is forced to do something she does not want to do (naturally, if the something is sex and it's non-consensual, that would be r***), as a result of extortion (for example, blackmail). Again, I'm hardly an expert on this series, but in a lot of non-consensual sex JAV, there's no need to know the language to understand the nature of the blackmail: we can see the naked photos. Yet with the VDD movies, the only thing we can do is guess... as to what the bad guys could have over the lady, in order to do what they do with her. This must have been the reason why I never got into these films, because I could not understand what was going on.
