I normally do. It's actually the first time I advise somebody directly. It's not my job but I see this happen often so people are missing the obvious for some reason.
Some people just don't look, aren't familar with the language or are just overwhelmed by the size of the board itself (honestly, this board could use a little finetuning to be more user friendly but the mods do the best they can....what mods are here anyway). And basically its' every members job to be helpful and supportful to newbies, other members and staff alike. Not everyone sees it that way but that is the way I try to look at it (not that I am perfect, I have my bad days like everyone else).
Honestly, the only reason I posted on this thread instead of just hitting the report button myself was to poke a little harmless fun at you. Lighten up. There were likely not only members that knew the answer to this question and intentional ignored it but many more who saw this thread and didn't even offer any advice or encouragement whatsoever. You did good.
