DASU is a case in point. Even without seeing their faked scenes I would question why a studio is trying so hard to say that the semen in their movies is real. Some people like fake over the top scenes and that's fine, but I've never considered DASU for real scenes ever since I knew they did fake scenes as well. Yup some actresses even became notorious for fake penetration: Miho Maeshima and Mihiro I think were two. But the super thin mosaic pretty much killed that and now it's coming back

I remember back in 2008, mosaics had been getting fabulously thin for quite some time, and then a couple of studios got busted for going too far, and I think there were some legal consequences for them. Suddenly all the studios seemed to go into damage control, and almost overnight there were big blocky mosaics. I remember thinking "Oh no, is this what mosaics are going to be from now on?" It took quite a while for the mosaics to start getting thinner and less intrusive once more. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this happened again, although I hope it doesn't. (It may have happened before I was into AV as well.)
