Hey guys, I have a question particularly regarding two JAV studios, however I seem to see a downfall in quality and innovation in the production of many studios. For example Rocket has only 2 releases per month now (they used to have at least 8) and the titles that they are producing and the ones that today they announced for october seem pretty redundant compared to what they were making before, when they had a lot of cool and new ideas. Also Natural High, a studio that was personally my favorite for many years, is not producing many of the series that made them iconic IMO, and are also producing 8 titles per month( used to be 12 before) and the titles that they are producing are much "safer" to put it that way (no anal, no hospital themes, no huge butts, etc.). Do you have any idea on the situation and what is your opinion on the current JAV releases? In my opinion they are producing titles with a lot less innovation and the production values seems to have dropped. Of course as I said that's just my take and I would love to hear if you agree or disagree with me and what's your opinion on the current JAV releases!

I haven't noticed an overall decline in production values, or any softening of content in JAV, over the 12 years I've been downloading it. That said, you're talking about two particular studios. I don't really search for porn by studio, but rather by actress and theme, so I'm not familiar with the current feeds of either studio. But I'll say that I have enjoyed many Natural High titles over time, and in particular, I've downloaded like 10 of them just this past week. Though they are all at least 3 years old. Many titles involving irama/throating or anal, and strong humiliation themes. If they've gotten tamer - and I suspect you are correct since none of my searches for this type of content ever yielded any recent NH titles - that is too bad.
Another thing which confirms your suspicion about the studio is that most of the good NH titles I've downloaded are directed by "Remonha-to-Nakashima." He directed over 200 titles for NH from 2008 to late last year, when he suddenly switched to another studio. My guess is NH decided to go in a different direction with their content, or, perhaps, they are cash strapped and wouldn't pay him enough.

I am afraid you are right, at least for the western porn. I wasn't aware that those platforms are that popular in Japan and if they are I agree with you 100%.
Maybe that depends on what type of content you are looking for. For example Rocket were Imo really famous for their big incest titles and they produced them a lot, however nowadays they are almost nowhere to be found. Natural High titles that I fondly remember being really excited to see the new titles from where- All of the hospital "aunt" cowgirl titles, their big ass titles (that they made at least 1 or 2 per month), also I really love their anal titles. At least for those two studios I am really disappointed by the lack of innovation and the titles that they are producing in recent times. I hope they can turn it around but I am not even sure they want to. Maybe the guy above is right and onlyfans is gonna ruin JAV as well as they really messed up western porn.

I don't think onlyfans is going to wreck JAV. JAV offers tons that you don't get from the poorly produced, ultra-tame swill on onlyfans. Onlyfans is successful for certain performers because it is fan based but it won't replace mainstream studio JAV. I haven't seen much decline in studio produced western porn either these past 5 years. There's still plenty of it around.
It's mostly American low quality. European ones are almost dead. Does German and Italian exist now? Previously, the phrase "German film" was a joke. Can Budapest now be called the porn capital? There are far fewer pretty, good actresses these days.

I agree most of the big performers are only producing their own content which is pretty lackluster most of the time. The new girls only want to make a name for themselves and start a onlyfans on their own and ditch the studios. Also I don't know why but I am having a hard time in liking most of the new girls.
Okay let me clarify what I meant by safer- mass appealing content, with almost nothing out of the ordinary (at least that's my opinion). No anal, nothing too hardcore, they have seemed to ditch the incest theme, which both studios relied heavily upon and stuff like that. Also both studios had big series of titles that IMO made them famous and those titles aren't being produced in years. Maybe they have financial issues and don't have the budget to produce such content anymore I don't know. To touch upon the anal genre a little bit more, a lot of the studios have been producing some anal titles in the past months, however those titles are also slowing down. And of course all of that is just my opinion, you don't have to agree with it i just wanted to hear other people's opinions as well.
