Weird. This is the second time a download of mine gets corrupted. I upload them through Rapidshare Uploader; maybe it's getting damaged during the upload, I don't know. Well, 7-zip does seem to do the the trick, but I'll get a new part 12 UL'd for you guys.

Well, your part 12 file is password encrypted whereas the others aren't.

WinRAR treats all parts of an archive as being contiguous (i.e, a single stream); if you password-protect one of those parts, it will corrupt the stream from that part onwards because where WinRAR expects to see an unencrypted stream, it is now encrypted.

Therefore it will report a "Packed Data CRC Error/Mismatch" after extracting part 14 and discard the entire unpacked file because it deems it as corrupt. The only difference between WinRAR and the 7-Zip file manager is that the latter doesn't delete the unpacked file if you unpack it using the explorer right-click menu.

However, the file remains and is corrupt. I've dome some analysis and the WMV header reports the duration of the movie as 1:57:46, however from 1:39:10 onwards the packets are corrupt, so we've lost the last 18 minutes or so.

Suggest repacking and reuploading the entire movie; if you want to password-protect it, password-protect all the parts otherwise just leave it with no password.

I'm sorry, it's like a 2 years old post and I'm not online as much as I was back then. Perhaps someone else can do the reuploading in the meantime, until I get to it, which is "god-knows-when" at this point.
