Where does that message pop up? Which program do you use and what do you try to do with it?

You're using Media Player Classic Home Cinema(the home cinema is important) since it's the only player with LAV filters integrated.

From the code, it sounds like you're trying to play a weird version of ogg vorbis(ogg vorbis 3 plus).
You can try to check if all the vorbis option are enabled by going in Options -> internal codec.
I don't know which exact codec can play those files, vorbis as always been a pain to deal with.

If you have a sample or a link for the whole thing maybe I can find something that will play it.
I couldn't find any info about a specific decoder that can play it just by searching on the web.

LAV filters can play almost anything so if it doesn't work with it, it's not a very common format.

This one should do the trick(worked for me).
If it doesn't for you, let me know since some version can be glitchy with different sound card.

To install it, extract the content of the attached zip file, right-click vorbisacm.inf and click install. You should then be able to play it fine in MPCHC.

I only tested it on Win7(because I hate Win8 too).

Did it give an error when installing or did that part work as expected?
It should at least load if it installed properly(meaning you shouldn't get the same error message as your first post), the potential problems are usually weird noise/glitches while the audio play.

If you right-click the video once it's open and go in filters, you should see the ACM Wrapper like so:
ACM_Wrapper.jpg

If it doesn't at least install, It's going to be a pain to figure this out since I don't know of any Vorbis ACM codec that's more recent than 2003-2004, but let me know and I'll do some test in a Win8 VM to see if I can get it working.

Edit: After a bit of research, it turns out it doesn't register properly on Win8(it adds it as a 64bit codec instead of a 32bit one).
There's a way to make it work, but the guy put it in a file instead of explaining it and the file doesn't exist anymore...
I'll see what I can find out.

Also, that's actually the latest version of the codec I've given you. I thought v0.0.3.6 was more recent, but it's actually the same thing.
