They don't like them because they are (often) slow. But they are faster than Rapidshare, which has become ridiculous. Maybe premium users are unaware that if you don't subscribe to Rapidshare, you are limited to about one download per hour, because the rate is often under 100K, and they make you wait 15 minutes after one finishes before you can start another one. At least with a torrent, you can start it and forget it; you don't have to sit by your PC so you can start another piece once an hour.
MU is a lot better - much higher bandwidth and only a 45-second wait between DLs.
