Great share of article, CodeGeek. It is really interesting to learn the girl's side of story.

You see this is the discrimination Japan still possesses (un)consciously. They talk about equality but at the bottom of heart they think some people are less equal than others.

Just to contribute to the topic:
One female student sued one of the biggest TV Station in Japan after they offered her the job position but later revoked the decision because she once worked as a "hostess".

The people who criticize and blame the hostess are the very people who frequent the bars. Such a hypocrisy.

The same thing goes to AV actress. People watch them frequently but they never pay respect to these who participate in them.

On a related note, every strip club in the world have flirty girls that will offer you "The VIP Lap Dance" for a few dollars more.. :)
