How do I delete my forum account?

I actually only joined to post an ID question about a JAV series. But apparently, it went against the rules to post an ID-this-series question in the forum and my post got deleted. And I can't post in the correct ID sub-forum either because I don't even posses a still image of the series I need IDed.

So I might as well just leave. But how do I do that? There isn't an option to delete my account in the Account Settings section

If you don't have an image, don't worry too much about it and post anyway, as long as it's in the correct section. The image makes things a lot easier but nothing you can do about it if you don't have one.
I should edit what desioner said since times have changed since he did a decade and a half ago, but there's so much to do and so little time and it's low on the priority list(especially since so few bother to read it) that I haven't got to it other than just redirect properly to the right sections.

As for deleting your account, just stop logging in and forget about it. We have a one account per person policy and since the majority of people want to come back a few years later after their account had been deleted, it causes a lot of problem so we stopped doing it as a policy.

If privacy is a concern, just go to the privacy section and set everything to block people from seeing your data and it will be effectively deleted from being public.
