There are way too many factors to consider in a post here. But I will just say that the world economy is in very bad condition for anyone making minimum wage. So there is little to no money that can actually be “saved” after the bills and priorities are paid.
 
In Tokyo, just outside city center? No money remaining.
In smaller cities, outside of city centers? Maybe a tiny bit remaining each month.
