Is fisheye lens mandatory in JAV these days?

I don't watch too much AV but every time I see something that catches my eye it turns out to be filmed entirely with fisheye lens. What's up with that, and is there any way to remove it? (via filter, re-encoding, etc)

It almost seems, doesn't it? Japanese women can be so beautiful and sexy, but even the semi-full figured beauties sometimes lack the curves of western counterparts. And that is not a complaint. I've seen some titles where the performer's ass and hips look incredible! Then when I find other titles of that performer she looks rather thin. Victim of camera lenses. But to me...since JAV is the only way I would get to enjoy this woman...having her look like she's bountiful by way of lense selection is okay by me.
