I just want to find clarification that this girl girl is actually Nagomi. In MCKN-001 it is listed that the actress is Mai Oyamada but wait she looks just like Nagomi. I'm not crazy right? This is Nagomi using a different name. Does the studio Toyohiko often change the name of the actresses? But why? If I didn't know about this studio I would never known about this movie she was in.

Yes it's Nagomi. This kind of thing happens all the time, for different reasons. Idols often have different names for TokyoHot releases, for example. I also find it rather curious...

However, the Tokyo-Hot case is understanable to a degree, because it is uncensored porn.

what is up with all the multiple aliases in JAV?
To me it seems like they change aliases when they try to change genres or their target audience. But is that really necessary?

For example Saki Hatsumi / Shizuku had me confused. Until recently I thought they were completely different people. It seems like when she was younger and looked more loli-like she went by Shizuku. After she got older she changed her name to Saki Hatsumi in an attempt to strip away her loli-ness or something... idk. What really threw me off me was she that did a really extreme looking video with Milky-Cat (FB-09) as Shizuku but from what I've seen as Saki she is not all that cum hungry.

The worst one at the moment is Arina Sakita / Eri Natsumi / Ari.
She debut on Kawaii as the cute, innocent type back in 2013 but she returned relatively recently as Eri Natsumi with sexier, sluttier attitude. And I think she has a few other videos under the alias Ari just to throw people off further.

Seems kind of unnecessary to me. It just confuses people.
Also none of these are uncensored, so that has nothing to do with it.

At the risk of stating what many here are already aware of, it can be management wanting to change the image of the idol, or sometimes the stage name is actually owned by the agent or management, so if they leave that agency they can't use the name anymore. A big part of AV involves an "evolution" of an idol, so they start out naïve and reluctant in the debut, then gradually come out of their shell, so to speak. When the career arc is complete, some idols will do a 'rebirth', different name, start all over again - well, kinda. There must be other reasons for this...

Actually I noticed that on the description for FB-09 they wrote this:
"In fact this was filmed as a part of DMC then looks like milkycat's full menu experience for Shizuku.
Unfortunately after this shooting, her model agency had tax trouble then she changed another model company.
the new model company sold her as Saki Hatsumi, then they refused our offer."

So yea, sounds like its up to the modeling agency/company.
