Recently a trend that i notice is more and more exclusive actresses become freelancer now, what phenomenon is this? is this because competition become harder so if an exclusive actress can't achieve expected target, the studio simply not extend the contract, so the option for the actress is becoming freelancer? thank you

I don't know a thing about it, but I would assume that one of the reasons might be to have more freedom. Then again, it might be hard if most studios require exclusive contracts. On the other hand, I feel that there are more and more indie JAV makers now, so it might be a viable solution to just be a freelancer yourself and just get work from enough indie makers
