Although I'm sure it's out there, the only rap I've heard in any clubs here has ALWAYS been from the USA. It's 'cooler' to be poor, black and from the USA than it is to be poor, yellow and from Japan. (I would have said 'poor & white' but I don't think many folks here would catch the reference that most Japanese folks have whiter skin than us North American folk)
