Hi
I don't own an iPad myself, but every time I send youtube video links to people with iPads they can't view them. I know apple and Flash are not compatible. Is there something really simple I can have my friends to install on their iPads that will allow them to play my music video links?
This has to be really easy, they're not technical. I don't own any apple products myself

Advanced Thanks

If it is just the song and not the video you care to share then just "rip" the video off youtube and send them the mp3.

Been awhile since I had the desire to do this myself but I have done it before. Try:
http://www.youtube-mp3.org/

or look for another site, they are out there. Never had desire to rip the video from youtube though so I can't answer that problem, although it should be easily feasable.

Jdownloader(v2 at least) can rip the video and the audio from youtube in any format available if you so desire.

Can it rip them seperate or only rip them together? Not something I have need of, and the any format option sounds great, I was just curious.

It can rip them separately(video + audio or audio only) and can also rip 3D-video, Images and subtitles.

Thanks for the responses.

The problem with the downloading and ripping idea, is that these people are not going to take the time. I thought there might be a simple plug-in for the mac that would automatically play the videos when they click my youtube links. I myself use Complete YouTube Saver. But again, they will would not know how to use it.

I could download the videos with youtube saver, and put it on my server. I've done that. But it ends up being a lot of work everytime I want to show something.

Can't the youtube app be launched automatically for youtube links(I don't have anything mac so I can't test it)?
