Here's a handful off the top of my head who debuted since 2020 who I think are facially very attractive. If you run into them in the street and they don't turn your head in some way, you've got ridiculously high standards when it comes to Japanese women.

Whereas with Mari Rika, for example, there's just something subjectively attractive about her face for me that doesn't require a lot of makeup, or a special kind of lighting, or anything else to "improve it" and "push it over the line". I can no longer watch vintage AVs from the 90s even if the women looked great due to the huge mosaic and terrible video quality. circa 2000-2010s had some decent girls, while the best period for me were 2010-2020. The girls were modern, sexy, cute.
I think its not a surprise that the most attractive don't go into jav since they have better alternative options. Same thing applies in the west you see for example bikini models looking way better than pornstars. Also bikini models likely a lot of effort into maintaining physical fitness something you're unlikely to see in jav I bet.

This is something particular since I think American porn industry does attract far more fit and good looking girls, proportionately, to the Japanese industry. That the US has 3x the population aside, I think the culture difference might have something to do with it.
