I know that ShocWave very much is hunting for Urutsukidoji V - the final chapter - and he wants ISO´s more than everything...

He tries to find the German Universe Box where it is not exactly clear whether it contains part I to IV or even part I to V as the informations to be found in the web, even in Filmundo, the German auction board, are quite different...

If this video here is Urotsukidoji V...

(btw.: this is mkv file with an AR of 720 x 576 pixels - opposite to the AVI with 640 x 480).


...then this is the VHS cover of Urotsukidoji V...

...but then this DVD released as part 15 in the Green Bunny DVD re-release in the first months this year is Urotsukidoji V - the final chapter too. Am I correct?

I always thought that this cover was of a movie version of part 1... -> shame on me...:scared:


But if I am correct this would be a chance for Erobeat to get a DVDISO of this unfinished series...

Or a chance for us to get a good ripped file of part 5 in the web too, yet I only found DVD rips of nos. 1 to 12 containing all episodes of part I to IV.

I did not find DVD´s 13*, 14* and 15 yet, did anyone else ever see or recognize them?

Thanks for doing research. I did not know there was a Japanese DVD release of this.
It turns out I have access to this disk via online rental since they added it to their catalogue a few months ago.
I only searched for Urotsukidoji V, but it was labeled as Urotsukidoji 15 as shown in the cover.

Indeed that´s just a coincidence...

I found a better version of part 5 in eMule and downloaded it. When I tried to sort it into my archive I ran into the VHS cover but found out I had two more versions of it, an even older VHS version and a smaller one, two of them located as movie version of part 1 but any video files missing. So I checked the whole Urotsukidoji folders, files and covers and found out that they both belonged into the final chapter folder. But when moving them into the correct folder I found out that there was a DVD cover too, and I know since some time by Jan55 and from the Erobeat hompage that there is a request started by you for a DVD of part 5.

As I had checked some sites for the Universe Box as well in the younger past I just thought why must we try to get the Universe Box when there is a rather brandnew DVD...

About Urotsukidoji Kanketsuhen ("Final Chapter"), I can add few things.

The german DVD-box definitly contains this episode (as an easter egg) and all other series (though some are butchered in editing). I read somewhere that a short introduction (recap?) was removed in that version.

I'm not sure a DVDISO is the best thing to use., since the DVD release is most likely with added censorship (at least it was confirmed with DVD re-release of other episodes), the best version is still the old japanese VHS/LD. Or the german DVD version (with the concern about the intro). In that sense, your file is a pretty good source.

There is an VHSrip on Share, though It's incomplete since forever (hash: d18d7e94a4d2b371686bf11d695c7e6e100bc9e7). It's also on Utatane (but good luck to get it!). The announced running time is 60mn28.

the final chapter will be released subbed by EroBeat in the near future, and they´ve taken the rip from the original DVD. The known rips rather are crappy.
