it says AV and it's SOD so even though the pics suggest nude gravure, its obviously not.

Personally, if it is definitely AV, I'll be skipping it, given what she said in her blog about being unhappy and not wanting to do it. A nude gravure would be wonderful, but not this.

Why I said that? Becoz the content is showing that Sakura was browsing 2ch (the biggest japanese bbs) from time to time, browsing her own thread and reading the comments about her!

Hello everyone, this is Sakura.
I am here to announce my AV debut,
coming August 8th from SOD Create.

今まで３年間ほどグラビアでお仕事していて
イメージDVDなどの仕事をしていたんですけれども
１８際になったので新たな仕事にでも挑戦してみようとおもいまして、
AVの出現を決定しました
I have been doing gravure for about 3 years now
appearing in Image DVDs and such.
Now that I'm 18 I thought that I should try a new challenge, and I decided to make an appearance in AV.

デビュー作です！
This is my debut work!

えと、このDVDではイメージDVDよりもちょっと
色々と恥ずかしいこといっぱいしちゃったので
緊張したりとか、えと、毎度あるハプニングが
たくさん起こったんですけれども
頑張りましたので皆さんに是非見て頂きたいです。
どうぞよろしくお願いします。
Um, I did a lot of stuff for this DVD that is a bit more embarrassing than my previous work, and I was nervous and there were a lot of challenges just like there are every time, but I worked hard, and I definitely want you all to watch.

I was hoping it wouldn't be a regular AV myself.:death: Perhaps a few others are right, there's something wrong with someone who has to suddenly go to such extreme when she could probably sign a good contract with one of the almost AV groups for a few years, or perhaps she needs the money. Oh well, I wish her the best in future career.

I'm sure she'll continue to do an occasional IV here and there. If not, I'll have to treasure her last 2 releases with Voltage X (MOR-47/48).

Lets be realistic here, any young girl introduced to sexually related workplace at the age of 15 probably won't find it that difficult to translate that to porn. I think it's quite ignorant to be upset and shocked that this happened, especially considering everyday japanese girls are sexually active quite young. She's going to regret this because once her fans see it once, that'll be enough and they'll be interested in more attractive av girls.

Couldn't have said it any better myself. She chose to do what she chose to do and noone put a gun to her head to do this.

Nevertheless, it is still kinda disappointing - considering how much she said she DIDN'T wanna go into AV just a month or two ago ...

I do also believe she won't last for long. Sakura just doesn't have the looks to span a 10~15 year career in this biz. We all know she gained popularity/notoriety as a young girl who pushed the limits as an under-18 idol. What will be left of that after 5 years of this kind'a work? The porn industry has time and time again turned stunning women into crackwhores, if not literally then at least in appearance.
Goodness knows even a natural beauty like Maria Ozawa looks VERY fucking rough around the edges nowadays. To be blunt, those pockmarks that have come up recently make her look like a run-of-the-mill junkie.

I'll watch Sakura's first AV title, for sure. If she seems to genuinely enjoying what she's doing - as Shoko Mimura seemed to in her first release, then I'll continue to patron her. If, however, she's either a poor performer or looks miserable doing this, then her first AV will also be the LAST thing of hers I'll ever bother to watch. The ball's in her court.
