I am using computers from 2007. The OS that came with it was Windows Vista. Is it recommend for the old computers to upgrade the OS to the latest version? Or just remain with the old OS?

Yes, use a low impact Linux distro such as Peppermint, Linux Mint XFCE, Lubuntu etc.

Did you buy a desktop computer from Aldi? o_O
My first computer ran Windows® 98. It lasted for over ten years.
The one I am currently using has Windows® 7 - X64. It may have gone out of regular support, but access to the Extended Service User patches is available using a script written by a user on the Ask Woody blog/forum.
To me, computer operating systems are like an automobile. They should be operable forever, as long as the parts and accessories for it are available. :)
