This is a very good anime series. I wasn't sure I would like it at first but my fondness grew with every episode. No fanservice but plenty of other points to recommend: well written, very good animation, the dub was of a high standard (and no I don't like every dub), a great approach to the hero genre, and just a great cast of characters. This anime is good for all ages although the situations and tense moments may be too much for the wee ones.
Plot Summary: Sternbild City is home to people called "Next," who use their special abilities to protect the people as superheroes. These heroes solve cases and save lives so they can wear sponsor logos or acquire "hero points." Their activities are documented on the popular program "Hero TV," which picks the "King of Heroes" in a yearly ranking. The veteran hero Wild Tiger has always preferred to work alone, but now he's been assigned the rookie Barnaby Brooks Jr., who has a different perspective on being a superhero.
