I am just wondering if I am the only one who sometimes thinks about the personal situations around the porn actresses. My guess is that I am not the only one.

Do you sometimes think how the families of a porn star think about what their daughter/sister is doing? Do they know about it? Maybe some actresses won't tell them but isn't it just a matter of time until it will be found out?

Imagine a guy going into a sex video store and suddently finds his daughter on the cover of a porn DVD, with some cum on her face. What would that father do? Dispossess his daughter, commit harakiri in shame or buy that DVD and go home to jerk off to it?

I guess that for some parents it is already hard enough to know their daughter fucks with a guy in front of a camera. But how much more maddening must it be for them to know their daughter is beeing gang banged, abused, tortured, "bukkaked" (I just invented that word), r***ing, roped, pissed on, etc...

Imagine that discussion:
Mother :"How was your work today, my dear?"
Daugher: "Tough but fun, I was fucked while 50 guys jerked off on my face for about 2 hours"
Mother: "Sounds great. Make sure to get a copy for your daddy so he can put it to the other family videos"

Well, in reality, the discussion would be quite different.

Some other thoughts about the U15/Junior Idol stuff. How would the classmates of a schoolgirl react if the find out that shy and quite Yuka in their class just did some Idol DVD? Would they be bullying her? And what do the parents of a 15 year old girl think when they give their daughter the allowance to do that. While the teenage girls will probably just do it to increase their pocket money, what about those pre pubescent girls? This must be initiated by their parents. And I wonder what are their reaons for it? They have debts?

It all depends.
In Japan, it is not strange that "being an AV actress is just another path to showbiz". Probably Parents would not be proud or happy about it, but it is not something to be awfully ashamed of, just another job.

In the case of the AV actress who perform in stuff like Dogma Studio, I dunno, probably they do not have any relation with their parents, after doing stuff like that I wouldn't have the face to appear in front of my parents. BUT! considering that here there are parents that encourage their 5 year old daughters to pose in micro-bikini showing a sexy pose in exchange for tons of money, wouldn't be strange that a "bukkaked" (great new term by the way) would be welcome at home anyway.

Some girls are willing to do AV in the first place, because they don't have good family relations at home. As soon as they are old enough, they just want to move out and start their own life separate from their family; and if they can't get any other job, making AV is a relatively simple way to make quite a lot of money in a short amount of time.

Other girls may have no choice but to do AV because their parents are heavily in debt and cannot afford to pay for their daughter. In that case the parents may find their daughter's involvement in AV regrettable but unavoidable.

And there are other girls who still live at home with family and simply lie about what kind of work they do (and use the extra money they earn from AV to go on vacation, to make it seem like they're away working). In some of those situations, the parents may simply be too preoccupied with other stuff to realize what's going on.

Plus, with the sheer amount of AV being produced every month, the chances of any given father finding his daughter's AV is actually pretty small. Plus, there are still many fathers who find it easier to cheat on their wives than to buy AV.



U-15/JI is a slightly different situation. The reason for doing AV is approximately 99.99% about making money, and 0.01% about the chance of becoming famous. The reason for doing U-15/JI is about 50%/50% (the smarter parents pick agencies that do talent development, such as singing, dancing, playing instruments, etc; remember that AV doesn't teach anything, unless you think being able to swallow 50 loads counts as a talent). U-15 models also tend to come from large cities (Tokyo, Osaka), and attend inner-city schools where the kids spend relatively little time together -- they all lead their own separate lives outside of school, and couldn't care less about what anyone else does. Even if a classmate were to be "caught" doing U-15, it just wouldn't be that shocking to anyone.

a lot of the women who do porn in Japan or anywhere are somehow emotionally damaged. the few studdies into the emotional makup of prostitutes show overwhelming chance of being neglected, phisically or sexually abused. i would imagine it's not too hard to make the leap from crack whores being abused to JAV actresses being abused they are prostitutes too after all. people who are abused often are quite bad at having healthy relationships and i don't see doing porn as healthy sexual behaviour so i would imagine they often have poor relationships with their parents irrespective of doing porn
