VideoProc is a relatively inexpensive piece of software that has a LOT of features, including converting formats, trimming, merging and more. And it offers upconverting with the Super Resolution AI. You can choose the output--I usually double the resolution. Many of my favorite JAV are only available as lower resolution formats due to their age. You do need a good video card. I have a NVidia GTX 1660 which is on the lower end of good. Anyone who has a gaming setup is a great candidate for this.
