What is going on with S1?

Do any of you guys know what is going on with S1.

In the last four months some of their DVD releases has been pushed back.

This has mostly happend to models like An Tsujimoto, but this month we are talking not just An, but also big sellers like Asuka Kiara.
Most of the releases has been pushed from the 7th to the 25th.

seems S1 trying to get bigger sale, they current release day are not good enough for their target, so they pushed it

It's not just S1, it's all of the Outvision/Hokuto studios: Fitch, Moodyz, IdeaPocket, Oppai, etc. It started late last year, and has continued even now. I think it's linked to the legal problems the industry has been having, including arrests for outdoor sex, allegedly forcing models to do AV, and selling uncensored movies. The studios have had to pull some movies, and have started using a thicker mosaic. All of this has slowed down production, which is why they're behind.

What? Really? Damn outdoor sex is one of the best theme out there Maybe that's why Yua Mikami newest vid is having sex indoor but with a group of ppl around. About thicker mosaic, dark days of JAV still there and never gone.

yes they must be more careful about mosaic and themes

either their production has been slowed down or they searching for better sale

this is not a good sign

But what happened? Why outdoor sex is illegal?

I'm not technically sure if having sex outdoors is illegal or not in Japan, but since earlier last year (maybe a year ago?) many of the Ethics companies and/or larger studios decided to self-regulate against outdoor 'play'. I think I've seen some outdoor stuff start to slip back in, but at least back when I heard the news of the ban, the only outdoor activities allowed were pretty much clothed interviews. Strangely, even though filming outdoor sex and getting approval to sell your titles on big sites/stores is a gray area and still possibly no good, it seems like you can still sell older titles with outdoor themes there...go figure.

Unfortunately, this mess started happening right before the AV Open, and so several of the releases were affected. Worst of all, my fave Aki Sasaki's 100-man outdoor nakadashi video was never released. I'm still crying over that one.

It's not that it's illegal. It's just the fact that the police in Japan seem to use it as justification to arrest people associated with the industry in a rather misguided anti-obscenity crusde.

it was horrible, as the result the worst AV Open, and the worst JAV releases for months

considering that some actresses have stepped forward to say that they were forced/coerced/tricked into it and there have been a couple convictions, I wouldn't go so far as to say that police are making them all up...

yes, some are real but not all of the accusations are real

some of them are using this momentum to try to delete their porn history
