Why are some download sites from certain host are quite slow?

Why are some download sites from certain hosts are quite slow? For example, filejoker.net, k2s.cc, only runs about 50 KB/sec.

That's quite simple: they limit the download speed for unregistered users or free accounts.
Once you subscribe, your download speed is much more faster.
Some other hosts are faster, but you have to wait longer between 2 downloads.
