Why Are Videographers So Enamered With Closeups?

first off i want to say JAV is the hottest porn on earth. i don't watch western hardcore, the reasons are obvious.

but how much better would JAV be if the videographers got a clue? it's so damn frustrating to try and watch a hot scene and the camerawork and final editing just destroy the continuity, obscure context, and are just plain intrusive.

i just downloaded and watched shkd 305 and 348 and the performers were doing their part in creating heat in the scenes, but the camerachimp just kept going from one ill timed close-up after the other, mostly of the female leads face and part of a shoulder (i even got a foot once).

what is the point of having gorgeous models if the camerachimps won't let you see them? and every sscene is videoed exactly the same for a given situation in every movie. it's almost as if there is one camerachimp videoing every single scene in all of Japan. is that true or is it just that none of them have ever experienced an original thought?

sorry, but it's very frustrating to see the performers working their asses off to create great scenes, just for the idiots with the camera and editing software to hose.

I don't know about you guys, but yes, I think lots (not all) of JAV that I've seen has bad cameraman or editing/finishing. this little downside doesn't makes me hate or doesn't enjoy JAV anymore (they have the cutest girl and varieties of theme, and I like that), I'm bringing this up because it is related to the topic. it is frustrating if...... there's a great scene or positions that they (the performers) do and the cameraman making stupid close up that doesn't make sense (close up that doesn't view the sex scene/makes us can not see the sex scene). closing up on breast bouncing up and down, closing up on the actress's exctasy sex face, or on the pussy that's being banged, or any other sexy part is examples of great close up, other than that (like in your case, you got foot close up) is just plain stupid.

I think the U.S. porn has a great editing and camera techniques about how to shoot porn videos. porn studios like Digital Playground, Wicked Pictures, Vivid Entertainment, TeraVision, and other major porn studios shoots a porn with preparations like shooting an A class movies/Hollywood movies (although it came out as B or C class movies or as AAA porn movies in U.S. porn standards). I'm not talking about huge porn projects like Pirates from Digital Playground, I'm talking about ordinary porn that the studios make. JAV should learn more about these techniques more from American porn. I didn't say that the JAV has bad techniques, but what I say is American porn has advanced techniques and JAV can fill in their weaknesses by studying.


and again, this is just my opinion and I'm also not an expert to this kind of camera/editing process (because I didn't study or work at movie productions).
