Plot
Mitsu (Sumiko Kurishima) works as a hostess in a Ginza bar entertaining docked sailors. She is single and supporting her son Fumio (Teruko Kojima). She shares a room with a couple (Jun Arai and Mitsuko Yoshikawa) who babysit for her.
