Not sure how many of you remember Hikari Maeda (前田光璃). She never had a thread of her own here. She retired from the biz some time back.

Some of her IVs:

Anyway, I just spotted someone with the same name except with her given name in hiragana instead of kanji.

Are my eyes deceiving me or do they look rather similar? The body type is definitely the same. The face seems similar to me too except just a tad wider. But those new 3 vids claim its her debut and than subsequent retirement. Hmm...

Maeda is actually a fairly common family name in Japan as is Hikari as a given name, but gravure idol names are likely pseudonyms so there's little reason to pick a name that is similar to another existing girl unless there's some possible connection.

Its the cover of AMMT-011 that caught my attention.

That's a sight that seems familiar...

What do you guys think?

She's missing the mole at the base of her right index finger, other than that yeah they look a bit alike.

^ Now that you mention it...I never noticed the mole before until you brought it up and I usually have an eye for detail. But in this case, I was maybe a little too distracted... :ehem:

Old thread but I just saw it for the first time, actually.

@fwildly that's certainly not the same Hikari Maeda. Yeah, it's kinda weaird that they have the same (stage?) name, but definitely not the same person. To be honest I don't even find them similar. I think I would know, as I consider myself one of the biggest Hikari Maeda (the first one) fans, at the time :)

I think a lot of models from that era didn't get much of the recognition they deserved, here in the forums. Hikari Maeda, Akua Ootsuki, Ema Nakajima, Yui Ando, Juna Oshima were all stellar gravure performers at the time, at least in my opinion. I would love to know how they are doing nowadays; Akua is the only one still occasionaly present on Twitter/X. Even their agents (Aquas Entertainment and Enter Promotion) seem to no longer operate anymore.
