Looks like this thread is gathering dust. Never tried to actually use Usenet until this weekend to grab a couple movies. Followed Sam Kook's suggestions found in this thread and used xsusenet along with sabnzbd. Both FREE and no need to provide credit card info. Then as a test used sabnzbd to grab a bunch of movies I already have. So far downloaded over 37 GB so it looks like there might not be a download limit for the Freebie version or at least I have not reached it. And for these movies much of the download links at Slimedog - bitshare, uploadable, keep2share are dead. It is surprisingly easy to set this up. Took me about an hour. Then you upload the .nzb files and just let them run. Over the 3 day weekend downloaded over 25 movies.
