I use Mobile VR Station, it has lots of adjustments to play different VR encodings, but with limitations. However demo only allows 5mins of play if i remember correctly.
Can adjust eye IPD, head tracker options, etc. and saved into different profiles. Somewhere it says it uses the iPhones internal playback, so only mp4 will play, this i solve via repack mkv to mp4 using ffmpeg. Also my iphone has a max playable of 4096 x ????, so 4096 i found is the max width it can handle, and i have not found any limit on height so far. You will need to re-encode to width of 4096 if you got a higher width video. I use handbrake for that and is pain as it takes looooong time.
cost me $3.99 which is worth it as my left eye is not as good as my right eye and this IPD setting make me to see VR properly.
And lastly, you can stream from your computer the videos with uPnP or download to device for no lag if your wifi is not good.

Yeah I wouldn't recommend getting another phone, just saying the difference in phone could be the issue and seems it is. My screen has some burn in and a few cracks in the screen so I do at times notice it if I'm distracted while enjoying a presentation. The Oculus Go seems the thing for me!
Go handles not only 4096x2048 but even up to 4800x2400 in 60fps (h264 only). I'm not sure if only the official gallery app handles it though or if other apps were updated to handle the higher resolution.

Yes, it is the Plus Version (Samsung Odyssey Plus), but they are not a standalone device. You need to conect them to a PC. As you say they don't sell in Europe, I live in Europe and I have bought them in Amazon USA.
The quality with a 4K VR video is amazing. This glasses don't have the backdoor effect, you don't see the pixels so it is almost like a TV screen. With a 4K or 5K VR video it is almost real life resolution, you see the girls right in front of you in 3D, real scale with real life resolution. It 's breath-taking...

Nothing for me on these tittles. I like normal sex, not kinky stuff. And too much clothes on JAV videos. I like full-naked. I don't download videos with another men in the scenes, it is a turn off for me. Only POV VR videos.

It is a lot of worse in Western VR porn. Too much fake tits, ugly tattoos, disgusting piercings, a ton of make up.... It is like to fuck an ugly plastic doll... And I am european, so it is not a cultural thing... Western porn is mostly unwatchable for me. I prefer JAV, with beautiful, normal girls and no fake tits (almost), no tattoos and no piercings...
