Do you really find it odd?
It's normal for those who were in relationship to not work together anymore after they split , there are various example I don't know much about Japan , I don't speak the language , but in western porn this is the regular behaviour not only those in relationship often work together sometimes exclusively but they always won't work togeher ever again for example Dana Vespoli married Manuel Ferrara , they had three children after they divorced they never performed together again even though as directors they do direct the other sometimes .
