To continue the thread... and reversing her "planning only" phase, she now makes a few more credited vids (her name appears on the cover) and even some solo vids. But sad news is she's proven me correct. I predicted way way back when she was still a fresh face that she's at risk of getting fat. Now this:
looking at her instagram, she still looks skinny just her tits are way bigger, I don't think she's gained a lot of body weight, just her tits are bigger and she looks fatter because of it
Hmm I can't fully agree... but there's some interesting viewpoints... So her tits look bigger to you than before? Her tits were so humongous to start with, and anti-gravitational.
I never care too much about weight (the measurable quantity) but there is a triple scale: busty, chubby, fat. Busty is Julia and Rion, chubby is Tomoe Nakamura 中村知恵, fat is when you get rolls of fat in the mid section and/or cellulite. Busty and chubby are both fappable, but fat is not. Let's say busty is for fantasy, chubby is for real, fat is for fetish.
So Aimi definitely started out as busty. As her stardom faded, I read repeated gossip that she's gotten a bit of a weight problem but to me, I didn't see it. The implied message of gossip was that some fans of her left her due to weight. But to me she seemed to have kept her figure pretty much the same. Quite an accomplishment for not drooping due to gravity.
I agree 3rd rank studio would not spend the money to PS a cover photo, but it costs nothing to pick a better photo eh. I hope she is not cross into chubby category (from busty), but that careless cover is making me worried.

She's not as big as the cover suggests, but she certainly has a gut on her. On the plus side, she can now suffocate a man with those massive udders
Oh Me Gawds... this vid is beyond chubby now, it's one foot into fat country. Perhaps the fat-focus label deliberately use camera angle to highlight her mid section? Anyway she got a damn solid foundation there.
Maybe other studios/label/director could show her with better angles? If other vids are like this I am afraid I have to demote her in my watch list. Curious that her stardom is a little higher than 6 months ago
I still believe she ruined her career by leaving SOD so early, like SOD gets crapped on and deservingly so, but a few years at SOD usually leads to a pretty good foundation to go off of, Going from SOD to the face of a new company TeamZero(that is defunct now) was a bad move, give her 2 years at SOD and she could've been a S1S1 regular instead of her having a small cup of tea there. Like example Aya Sakurai was on SODS third label, and turned that into a good 2 years at S1, going from a 3rd label as someone not so special to the top is insane. Aimi had great potential, won the SOD best actress in her only year at SOD , a little bit more patience and her establishing herself would've been great. She still gets work, but she could've been a high paid "Star", and now she's just there

I agree with you usually ex big company girls are more easy to get another big studios when they leave, hmm maybe the theory chubby girls are more difficult to get jobs in JAV is true
I never follow Aimi (she smokes and without makeup, she is far from what she looks in her movies) and only saw one time in a multi cast movie, with the funny theme of girls losing their bikini in a pool. I watched a trailer of a movie released last month and to me, for sure, she isn't slender like Julia, but she is still a busty girl.
Tomoe is on the chubby side yes. Same for Sakura Kirishima. A belly and thick legs and big ass. Thick legs is what I dislike the most, the legs have zero shape.
And in firefly1's 3 rd screenshot, she was probably breathing or something like that.
That kind of question, I don't think anyone can get a trustworthy answer unless (maybe not even then) she writes a tell-all book. But that won't happen for a long time, and maybe never, considering her stardom is so un-bright most of the time, publisher may not want to print her book.
Chubby girls have always always been lower-rank citizens in Japan, until recently. What we now call vanilla used to be busty, busty used to be fetish, and fat used to be back alley underground don't-let-your-best-buddy-know-about-it sicko. Classic Japanese beauty standard is slim and melancholy as the weeping willow and pale as a ghost. Tits that are B-cup or larger (global standard) are viewed as vulgar and sinful.
Guess I digressed... recent years (like post 2015?) voluptuous become popular. Remember Maria Ozawa was a huge sensation with her exotic (half-white) 88E tits. Now a new girl with F-cup won't catch any attention. Aimi's official stats is H-cup. So going by 2017-2018, you are flat
wrong chubby has it tough. It's near impossible to find anyone with C-cup or less in the top studios vids. B/C-cups used to be mainstream 15 years ago. Back than body weight is more important than cup size. Over 50 kg (110 lbs) is deadweight on a girl's career. Does she really smoke? I didn't know nor care (really). I'm into her only for on-screen, or maybe if there's ever some opportunity, to use her only for sex. So I really don't care at all how her breath smells or looks w/o make-up.
What's interesting is not that she smokes, but that she let that fact out. What I hear over the years is that she's brash and un-Japanese in personality. Allowing causal fans to know she's a smoker is consistent. For any other girl, (contrary to @paparoach408 ) I think it's not a poor decision to leave SOD, but Aimi failed to build bigger and better career. My IMHO is her on-screen performance (by that I mean both skills and boobs) is quite good enough to be a top idol so it's her off-screen behaviors and altitude that's probably the issue.
I am more than a bit concerned that it's not 100% maybe not even 60% her fault. She's brash, willful and unloyal, but she puts the goods on screen, so I think she should have earned her right to be bad girl.
I know that Aika and Yuuna Himekawa also smoke. Smoking is a red flag for me (IRL and also while I'm looking for actresses).
I weathered a lot with this performer. Constant studio hopping, off putting loud crying, her predilection for starring in crappy genres, and some ho hum performances, but the weight gain really made me lose interest. What made her stand out to me was that she was this thin chick with zeppelin tits that you usually see on chubby type chicks. Now she's starting to look like one of them. I check her out now and then, but the weight gain is out of control and probably lead to me dropping her altogether in a year.

Sakura Kirishima and Yuuri Oshikawa gained more weight than her. I barely see any difference with Aimi (or I didn't check the good pics/movies). Which is more surprising to me as she is a smoker. Maybe beside that, she keeps a clean diet and hit the gym (but why smoking then ?).
A very large fraction of entertainers are smokers, but many of them don't advertise the fact. It's occupational. Again I assume you are not making things up, but she "keeps a clean diet and hit the gym"? If she does that and still getting chubby then she really has some genetic disadvantage. Seems to me more like her personality (and reputation) that she is
a bit self-centered and slightly lacks self-control.
Lots of chubby (or not at all chubby) girls smokes as part of their diet. They think that quitting smoking will make them fat. At worst it's a half-myth. But that photo to me is more than just weight-control and/or an unhealthy addiction. She's positively enjoying it and wants the world to know she's acting out. Again, it's part of her persona/personality.
I don't have any info, it's just that for me her body hardly changes since her debut. So, maybe she goes to the gym and/or keep a good diet. But yeah, she smokes so, I doubt she's keeping a clean diet. Still, hitting the gym can help you to not gain fat if you don't eat very clean food (to a certain limit). At least, she isn't Minako Komukai lol.
