First question, what operating system and RAR archive software are you using?
If you are not using WinRAR, you might not be able to see the password, but still, I have also put the password next the files in each archive as a precautionary measure, that's why after posting thousands of contents, I am rarely asked for the password.

The only reason that you couldn't see the password, as I deduce, is that you opened any other parts of the archive instead of the first part (named .part1.rar). Please have a look at that, thank you.

That is the password I used and it says wrong password. I am using windows 7, 7zip and I have never had this problem before.I copied the password exactly as it appeared. I will try again.

Make sure you copy the exact password without space before or after it.

That was the password I used but 7zip kept giving me wrong password crc error. Since you mentioned winzip, I downloaded that ( I have used it before) and got it to take password. Thank you for your help.

I have received several reports that using 7zip or software other than WinRAR might lead to extraction failure, thanks for your reply.
