Any Love for the URE Comi Series?

I'm somewhat confused by the distinction between manga, hentai, and doujin, the URE series features movies that were originally manga and have been adapted to film form. They are usually called "original collaboration" and other studios use that term too, like MIMK.

But I really like the URE series and have collected almost all of the films. In no particular ranking, I love URE-011, URE-014, URE-019, URE-028, URE-030, and URE-035. What sets these apart are solid story lines that make some kind of (often twisted) sense, and some very good actors as well. Does anyone have a comprehensive list of the manga that inspired these films?

I've seen a few of these. In general, I like titles that are based on hentai manga as they have good storylines and play up humiliation themes very well.

I liked URE11 and URE19. I am currently working on cleaning up the bad autosub for URE11 with a thorough line by line edit job. It's taking awhile since it is has 1600 lines of dialogue.

These titles really require good subtitles to appreciate them fully.

I'd kind of like to find the manga for AVOP72, but all I can determine from the cover and credits of the movie is the name of the guy who wrote it which so far has not led me to the comic itself.

Yup, looks like it. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be one translated into English. At least not there. I've actually been able to find a bunch of mangas in English but not that particular one.

Not really a fan of live action JAV adaptation. Of all the releases they butchered like 99% of them with ugly actresses.

The MIMK series, which is Moodyz' series that is all manga collaborations, has loads of top JAV actresses in it. There are two Julia titles, 1 Anri Okita, and 2 Ai Uehara, as 3 examples. Also AVOP72, my favorite of the bunch, has Ai Uehara in it. There are currently 109 titles in the MIMK series, with about 1 new one every month. Quality of actresses is likely to depend mostly on which studio is doing the title. That said, not all the actresses in the URE titles are that great looking. So if you started with a manga you liked, it's hit or miss whether you going to the like the actress in the live action JAV version. I started in reverse of that, not reading the comics first, and looking for manga titles that already had actresses I liked in them.

I only remember the one with Maki Tomoda. The rest are either ugly or meh. Doesn't do the manga justice.

I agree with @rice1234. The stories now adapted never lives up to its true potential. The actresses barely looks or acts like their characters in the comics and the male actors are...just bad actors.​

Now its even worse, imo. URE just seems to be casting anyone they feel can make the sales and not care about the storyline or acting. Ai Kano is one of JAV worse actress and looks.. I'll be nice. She tries.
URE gave her 3 live action adaptation(I think) and they've been very forgettable and quite terrible. Even the sex scenes. Bu she tries lol

The newest has the emotionless f*** doll Mio Kimishima. Another bad actress. Hopefully, the sex scenes will be tolerable

I don't disagree with your assessment: the old ones were better. I believe URE-045 is just a remake of URE-30 which is one of my favorites in the series. But still, there are so many really good ones like URE-011, URE-014, URE-019 (might be my favorite and I just got the subtitles for the uncensored version, woo hoo!), URE-028, URE-30 as mentioned. Hit and miss after that. MIMK has some pretty good movies too.

Don't have a list at hand but they're very easy to figure out since there's only like half a dozen different hentai manga authors whose works are being adapted (Hana Hook, Tsuya Tsuya, Takasugi Kou etc). Just look the author's name up on nhentai together with "incest" and the covers should somewhat match with the DVDs.

For instance the covers you posted are all Yojouhan Shobou and Hana Hook.
