In early 2020 I started getting in touch with "amateur DIYers" out there who offered custom videos. Since then I have had many, many, MANY experiences ordering customs and getting in touch with such folks, and I have blogged about it numerous times myself (and I am presently working on a list of people to avoid!).
I won't bore you with details but suffice it to say that it's risky at best, and my general recommendation is "don't do it: it's not worth it". But that depends on your budget and how flexible you are in terms of the "artists" performing doing their interpretation of what you are looking for.
So far my best experiences have come from the site Ma ny Vi ds , because there is an "official" form/menu page where you can order your custom, so it's recorded somewhere as a purchase and a transaction and so you have recourse if something "wrong" happens.
I strongly do not suggest On ly Fa ns (or OnlySpam as I call it) because you have zero recourse once you "pay" the person to do a custom. They can just disapear, close their account and run of with your money (happened to me at least 3 times there - lesson learned!).
Important info: you get what you pay for. It's obvious that those who charge, say $20-$50 a minute will be more proffessional than those charging, say, $2-$5 a minute. And those who charge more usually have a wider range of toys, clothes, accesossies, etc... as well as better video equipment and post-editing tools. Also those who are more "pro" are more likely to provide you with an end result closer to your fantasies than those who are limited to their bedrooms with a cell phone as camera.
My experiences are hit and miss for the most part. I have had excellent experiences with a lady who charged $2 a minute with not extras (as people can charge extra for, say, boy-girl content, cum in mouth, anal penetration, etc...) who obviously was seriously limited in terms of settings and gadgets/toys/accessories, but she more than made up for it with her sheer dedication and energy. I ordered anywhere between 1 to 4 customs a month from her for the longest time, but then she increased her base price and added all extras as extra cost (so, for example, on top of say $6 per minute, it was $5 for boy-girl, $3 for blowjob, $5 for a facial, etc...). It had unfortunately become too expensive for my very limited budget, and had to stop because "at that price", I would have wanted better production values, if that makes sense.
But I have had really bad experiences as well. People realizing that they never put the added extras in the first place even after we exchanged dozens of messages and I had paid in full for the custom... These people tend to simply stop communicating with you and keep your money because they never realized they weren't charging "enough" in the first place. Which is why I take "print screens" or "screen grabs" of peoples' customs price lists first, to make sure that if they change their minds, I can too.
Anyway I won't waste too much of your time but to recapitulate:
- You get what you pay for
- Don't expect your fantasy to be 100% like you imagined
- Get ready to meet dishonest people
Oh one last thing: these are people too, so you can possibly get in touch with them on a bad day, or maybe they're going through a hard time, etc... It's not because they are a "sex worker" (in the sense that they sell something of theirs on a sexual level) that they'll always be 100% in a good mood or anything. People have off days, and by experience, people who do custom videos are more often than not treated like dirt by potential customers. So always put on your sunday best and be polite, because they can turn you down easily, and even ban/block you.
