Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that these videos must all be fake or otherwise casting judgment on their authenticity. As I said, I never watched fans have sex with idols before. E.g. being sexually faithful is very far down the priority/severity list about the commitment between a man and a woman. An ambitious woman actually expect her husband to have sex with prostitutes on a regular basis. A classy woman deserves a successful husband, and a basic requirement of success is expensive entertainment including prostitutes.
If you understand that Japanese hangup about sex is extremely different from rest of world, you may be able to see, allowing some "fans" to have sex with an AV idol isn't so out-of-this-world crazy as it would be in the West, even in Silicone Valley. Of course the Minami Kojima's advert tells us it's very contrived, very controlled set up. Even if she's my dream idol, I would have zero interest signing up for that gig. I'm pretty sure the experience will turn out to be very disappointing.
