Are video recordings considered assets?

Assets are things you owned right? Like furniture, appliances, etc.. What about video recordings, films, and those media stuffs? Are those assets of a person too?

It depends on the country. Each country has its own laws regarding recordings of individuals. Typically, YOU own the video unless the person was filmed in a private space (or conversation) without their knowledge. In public, providing the video does NOT focus on any individual, you own the video.

Also, digital assets are usually considered the same as physical assets.
