I have been wondering recently, do they still make movies in this genre? Or is it a product of the past.

my assessment is that all the jav beast videos are products of the past. i have a friend who has recently made a spread sheet of most of the major jav beast video and most are sourced to VHS or even more ancient formats (8mm, e.g.). in fact, the most recently released series (2014-2016) by maniac9/マニア９ is based on DJK- series by gekko/月光 which in turn had been released as VHS.

i am in the US so there are any number of torrent sites that have a number of jav beastiality rips of dvd and other beast video. google in the US hasn't really censored this type of video in any significant way. google in some other countries has censored searches of this sort.

here's some samples of what i can find on my US google:

수황(獸皇).torrent ~ this torrent consists of most of the MAD- series beast videos by gloryquest. its origin is korean and it is my understanding that the original servers seeding this torrent were closed by the South Korean gov't some time ago but it still manages to thrive.

Genki.torrent ~ this torrent consist of rips of the 1st 20 of the dvd of the genki-genki series ~ mostly bug, worm, snake, frog and the like ~ pretty sick and if you look around you will see that there is the sharing of what some are calling a "genki site rip"

the above are pretty big: 수황(獸皇).torrent is 46.1gb in size; [Limetorrents.com]_Mad Series & Others.torrent is 77.8 gb in size; and genki is 17.3gb in size
~ don't expect these to download immediately and when you have downloaded them finally after many many hours remember to seed them
