For those who don't know, Barefoot Gen is an anime movie in the 80s about Hiroshima getting nuked and focuses on Gen and his family.
It's a pretty dark movie and has scenes that can be nightmare inducing.
However, there's one scene that at firsr shocked me but is now a favorite of mine.
A day after Hiroshima was nuked, Gen's mom's breasts run dry which prompts him to look for milk for his mom. We'll skip to the good part.
Gen's mom heads to the outskirts of Hiroshima to find a woman to breastfeed her baby daughter. She finds a lady with a baby suckling her breasts laying against a tree. Gen's mom puts a hand on her shoulder and the lady proceeds to limply fall to the ground, causing the baby to slide off. Turns out she's dead. Gen's mom then thought "He doesn't know she's dead" referring to the baby not knowing his mother has passed away.
This legit freaked me out but overtime I developed a crush on the dead mom. Never thought a movie about a nuclear attack would have that scene...
And yes I know it's wrong but it was just so unexpected and the dead lady kinda looks like a milf.
